ICTFOOTPRINT.eu at Knowledge Society Forum

Apr 16 2018

The "Knowledge Society Forum”, under the theme ‘Transparency in a City of People’, takes place between 16th and 18th April, in Ghent (Belgium). The general theme of the event will focus on cities' practices, initiatives and new tools to engage with citizens and on creating new forms of democracy in the digital age.

The event will consist of members' meetings, working groups' meetings, moderated panel discussions (open also for non-members) and speed-networking session for presenting smart cities projects, activities or new strategies and approaches.

ICTFOOTPRINT.eu will be presented at the event, showcasing how the project supports cities and public administrators to go for low carbon footprint in their ICT. Plus, the recently launched SAT-O, a free and simplified Self-Assessment Tool for ICT-intensive Organisations, that estimates the carbon and energy footprint of organisations, will be showcased as well.
